Anika Noni, an American performer and singer. Most famously, she is known for voicing Tiana Disney's first African-American princess as Tiana Disney's first African-American princess in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends named her as one in 2011. Rose was an Oscar-winning actress who played Lorrell In Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born the 6th of September, 1971. She is a famous American actor and singer. The most famous of her roles was her role as Tiana Ariel, the princess of Disney. She is her first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She was named a Disney Legend in the year 2011. The most famous of her roles is her role as Lorrell Robinson in the film that won an Academy Award Dreamgirls (2006), and her performance as LaVerne the Jukebox Ganner from the Starz television series Power. Her other notable roles include in the theatre, especially in the role of Emmie Thibodeaux and Emmie Broadway performance of Caroline or Change (2004) and for which the Tony Award Best Female Featured Performer Award was presented to her, as well as Beneatha Youther in the Broadway Revival of A Raisin in the Sun (2015) to which she was awarded the Tony Award Best Female Featured Performance in a Musical was nominated for her.
